Statements of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah defining the ideology of Pakistan (with reference to Allama Iqbal’s 1930 Allahabad Address and Quaid’s address to the Constituent Assembly on August 11,1947). Definition of a Welfare State, Main functions of a welfare state, Difference between an islamic State and Welfare State and responsibilities of an individual and a welfare state. Pakistan’s current status as a welfare state and suggest what further steps need to be taken.
